Payment Policy

  1. Initial Consultation (First Visit)
        • Full payment for the initial consultation is required on the day of the consultation.



  2. Subsequent Sessions
        • Payment must be made in advance to secure bookings of therapy sessions. For the avoidance of doubt, fees must be received in full before the commencement of therapy to secure a place.



  1. Payment
        • We accept Cash, NETS, PayNow, GrabPay or Cheque payable to: The Speech Practice Pte Ltd
        • Payment is made on a monthly basis (on the first week of each month).
        • All payments are to be received in FULL on or before the payment due
        • All signed packages must be completed within 12 months from date of commencement.
        • Please be punctual for your appointments. Unless due notice has been agreed beforehand, we will not hold make up sessions for lost time as a result of lateness.



  1. Cancellation or Rescheduling of Appointments
      • Scheduled therapy sessions would not be forfeited if a minimum of three (3) days advanced notice is given to The Speech Practice either by phone, SMS or email to cancel or reschedule Otherwise, the session would be forfeited and full payment would be charged to the client’s account.
      • Scheduled therapy sessions would not be forfeited if cancellation or rescheduling is due to medical reasons (eg. Medically unfit), supported with a certified medical certificate (MC).
      • Scheduled therapy time is specifically set aside for you and not made available for other clients. In holding the timeslot for you, it often means that we would have to turn down new requests for the time slot, thus late cancellations or rescheduling requests would result in forfeiture of the scheduled session.


  1. Replacement sessions
      • A replacement session will be scheduled if the cancellation notice is received at least 3 days prior to the scheduled therapy session as indicated in point 4.


  1. Cancellations by The Speech Practice
      • Any cancellations made by The Speech Practice will be refunded with make-up sessions only.


If you go on holiday for more than two weeks, we may not be able to hold your regularly scheduled appointment time. You may have to re-arrange a suitable time slot.


As our valued clients, we endeavor to give you priority for your weekly timeslots. However, kindly note that we have an online booking system and from time to time we host international clients for intensive block sessions. Hence there may be instances where your regular slot may not be available. Slots are not guaranteed until it is confirmed through payment.
